Case Study:Akimbi Systems - MarketingInitiatives and UI DesignAkimbi Systems developed virtual infrastructure management solutions optimized for use in software development and test organizations. In September 2005, Akimbi Systems emerged from stealth mode and kicked-off a series of marketing initiatives to support the launch of their flagship product: Akimbi Slingshot. Prior to that launch, AtreNet worked with Akimbi to prepare a comprehensive marketing package including a web site, collateral, corporate presentations and trade show displays. We also worked directly with the Akimbi Systems product team to develop the look-and-feel of their web-based product user interface. After the launch AtreNet continued to serve Akimbi Systems as an integral part of their team. Akimbi Systems is a model for a successful technology startup. They leveraged their innovative technology, communicated effectively to their target audiences and maintained their marketing momentum following the initial buzz of their launch. AtreNet provided Akimbi Systems with a compelling brand and marketing platform that fostered a sense of credibility and a unified voice for the company. Nine months following their launch, Akimbi Systems announced their acquisition by VMware.
