Fortify Software developed and championed an "inside out" software security model, focusing on weaknesses in applications themselves rather than perimeter defenses against external attacks. Their solutions were fundamentally superior to popular software security strategies, but their website was not effectively telling the story. In addition, the site underwhelmed visitors with a dated, monochrome design that did not resonate with their Enterprise target audiences.
AtreNet collected extensive stakeholder input, and synthesized requirements leading to a fresh design, clear content presentation, and a Homepage offering role-based pathways to premium content. AtreNet's engineering team built the new site on popular CMS platform, enabling Fortify to perform much of the site maintenance internally. Propelled in part by their revitalized website, Fortify continued to grow and was ultimately acquired by HP.
